Sorry for the delay in reply. A revised version may eventually happen, as there are some subtle aspects to the animation that I think need improvement. But the chair bit was a way of having her interact with her environment, something the official characters don't do. It was also a way of solving the animation loop requirement without turning her into another bobblehead, which I was trying to avoid. It's more likely I'll develop at least one more female character and perhaps a male character to add some additional variety to the choices, and then return to this girl.

Beautiful work. You did a fantastic job. I'm wondering if I can ask a favor however... can you make a version where she doesn't swivel her chair around? I get dizzy from her doing that. I hope to see more of your work soon. You are extremely talented!

Donfield you are correct on that. You never see any movies of yourself inthe game and to this there is no point in changing the default Custom race image etc. Logo's hoowevera re seen all the time in DA, especially on your ships now :)

I installed the files to the game folder in both DL & DA and now have movies for the Dreadlords as well as a race image for once!

Follow up: From what I can tell, the .raceconfig and .customrace files appear to be the same, whether you're playing as or against a particular race. I tried playing as the alien girl's race I already have specified, and no movies of her appeared in discussions, which is exactly what I experience if I play as the Terran Alliance. Examination of the .customrace file after ending the game showed the movies I'd previously referenced to still be valid. At this point, I would assume that you never see movies of the race you're playing, unless someone else can verify otherwise.

To the best of my recollection, a movie of yourself as the race you're playing never appears during a diplomacy or United Planets meeting. I would assume you would have to alter the DreadLord's .raceconfig or DarkAvatar's .customrace files with the appropriate path to point to the respective movies. This aspect didn't occur to me as I normally play the Terran Alliance, and I didn't perform any tests to see if what you ask is possible.

Many thanks for this mod. I have downloaded and will try tonight, if they work fine i plan on using them for the Dread Lords images. Very fitting that the Dread Lords be female :D
