I do have a problem with one of your races,Spacing Guild of Navigators. They where the primary means of space travel by bending space with the use of spice. The ability of bending space was like teleporting. As ole Alfred Hitcock would say the spice was the Mac Guffen. ( motivating factor that everyone wanted. ) Who controls the spice controls the universe.
